Spinal Adjustments

Diversified Technique
Also known as 'manual manipulation', this type of adjustment is a common type of technique chiropractors use to help alleviate or correct a variety of joint pain and alignment. Defined as a manual thrust usually applied to the vertebra, this usually results in pain relieve and aid in the wellness and preventive care of the patient.

Cox Distraction
The Cox distraction is a gentle distraction technique most commonly used in the treatment of lower back pain and disc ailments.

Activator Technique
The Activator technique is used with a small tool to help adjust the spine. With the Activator, pressure is distributed in a variety of force determined by the particular needs of the patient. This type of adjustment is often preferred over the thrust by hand.

ArthroStim
The ArthroStim is a more specific type of activator tool with a more advanced range of pressure and frequency helping to reverberate deeper into the tissue and trigger points of the affected area.

Drop Table
A chiropractic drop table is a special table with segments than can altered in a variety of heights. The table can used in combination with the diversified technique to help adjust spinal ailments and lower back pain.

Therapies

Interferential Stimulation
This type of therapy is used with electrical stimulation and can used to help heal various tissue injuries, as well as treat pain and improve range of motion in the joints.

Cervical Traction
This type of therapy is used for pain management of the cervical spine. Gentle stretching of the neck relaxes muscles and increases spacing between inflamed joints of the neck.

Intersegmental Traction
The Intersegmental Traction table or 'roller table' as it is more commonly known is used to help facilitate muscle relaxation and reduce spasms. The table is very relaxing and can greatly accelerate the healing process of a back injury by gently mobilizing the spinal column and stretching the ligaments.

Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger points are painful areas located in taut areas of muscular fiber. With this type of therapy, a chiropractor can work to free the muscle and deactivate the trigger point offering muscular relief. Sometimes this type of therapy can even offer instant relief to the patient as tension is released.

Therapeutic Exercise
Therapeutic exercise is a variety of bodily movement activities to help improve many physical ailments. With this type of therapy, the patient can expect improved coordination and flexibility allowing for them to achieve a much more relaxed state of mind and body.
